I was joking, guys, about getting a citation. Nothing dramatic happened.. It did rain some, though. Had a follow-up fake TL story, ready, but probably not as funny as a real story below. To give you an idea of the difference between BBQing here vs Texas, aside from them not thinking brisket could be heavenly, this gives an idea of how paranoid they are of fire. I was once smoking early in the morning in a friend's backyard of a residential area of Boulder. I had also been burning down some pecan wood logs in a Webber for charcoal. Around 9am, a neighbor knocked on the door to warn us there was smoke coming out of the backyard and he was worried there was a fire. Lulz Now if we were in Texas, that neighbor would have brought over a 6-pack and asked to check out what we were smoking, in an attempt to get invited to the BBQ.
