Where in Texas would you live if you landed your dream job?

    Cool, someone mentioned Kerrville. I'm about to be from Kerrville. :) (which I think will be nice, though Wimberley is way too cutesy-fake country and scares the @#%@!! out of me)

    Of the choices in the poll: to this day I maintain a group of friends who hang around Rice U., and always wished to get back to Houston or the surrounding area for that reason. (it didn't work out for my career) San Antonio isn't bad - it would be second. Austin third, only because Dallas has to be last, but both are too crowded and expensive. At least Austin is pretty while it's being crowded and expensive.

    El Paso, if you were to include it, is nice and inexpensive, though it's an awfully long way from things like the coast, the rest of Texas, anyone's family or friends in the rest of the world... Corpus Christi would actually be high on my list. Inexpensive and near the coast.
