A inside presents. A scorer, rebounder.

    Gooden, or Stoudimire (sp).

We would have traded it for a proven player like Odom or Brand.

    he was in the draft.

i dont get the reason for this question.

how about this one: if michael jordan was born in argentina (gold medal champions)...would he have been as dominant in basketball as he was, or would he even played basketball?

how about this one: if shaq wasn't so big, would he ever have a chance in the nba?

how about his one: if basketball was never invented...would these guys be great athletes in other sports?

My point is...you could make a million hypothetical questions that nobody could answer FOR SURE. Yao Ming WAS in the draft...so who cares?

I was hoping for Caron Butler since Rudy refused to play EG/KT at the SF and everyone on the board said EG/KT was too slow to guard a SF.

I think they would have picked Dnleavy. Then, they pick Boki and think, "uh oh."

When they were playing Phoenix in the preseaon, Calvin Murphy stated that Rudy would have probably picked Amare Stoudemire if not Yao Ming.

We would have gotten a borderline star in trade as well as still pick in the top 7.

What does this thread supposed to mean?

Have people already started to regreat the pick of Yao Ming?

How about this question? What if we didn't have the No.1 overall pick? What if we had No.5 pick as we were supposed to do? Who would we draft then? I guess Gooden should be gone there, so we probably would pick...Mike Dunleavy??

The truth is that the Rockets drafted Yao. And we are stuck with him for better or for worse. Threads like this make no sense, especially after a few poor outings by Ming.

What if 3418 did not post his post? Would cc.net'ers take this thread more seriously?

What if lalala902102001's name wasn't so long? Would someone else make up a longer name?

Hitler would have consolidated his control of Europe and won the race for the atomic bomb.
