    1. Hire Gregg Popovich as head coach
    2. Trade Eric Gordon, Danuel House and Filler for LaMarcus Aldridge

    From there we go:

    Aldridge
    Tucker
    Covington
    Harden
    Westbrook

Sign some cheap centers and other vet min type guys and contend next year.

This above may not even be our starting lineup but at least we get that piece Harden says we are missing. Lol granted it's F what Harden says right now.

lol, nobody wants Eric Gordon...let’s not start with these lopsided, unrealistic deals

Lamarcus Aldridge has 1 year left on his deal making just 24 mil, and he is very productive. Why would anyone ever trade him for a scrub like EG who will be getting paid between 17-20 mil each year until 2024? Adding in a bonehead role player like House and useless filler is not making up the difference. No one is doing that. Let’s be realistic please.

It's no secret Spurs want high picks and it's also no secret we don't have any. We will see where Aldridge and DeRozan end up. Getting Pop as our head coach would at least give us a leg up on possibly getting some type of deal done.

I only see two possible futures for 71-year old Popovich— continuing in the Spurs organization or retirement.

You're not exactly making the case for the reality of your proposed trade.

Not really trying to. Spurs are in a situation where they really want to get rid of their core players and blow it up. To get Pop as a coach first would be great in itself. There's rumors that he is willing to walk away from the Spurs which is really surprising. With the passing of his wife it's no telling where his mind really is. If Rockets made that hire it honestly doesn't get any better than that from the coach perspective.

As far as the trades or trade that would be some having your cake and eating it too with getting Pop to bring part of his core here.

Pop really likes Harden, and Harden has a lot of respect and adoration for Pop...their after game hugs are more personal than just an opposing coach and player. I think Pop would be great as a Rockets coach.

Right now, I don't think you can unload House for any player...we would be lucky to trade him for a new basketball.

I think the Rockets need to send him back to the D League.

I feel really bad for you young fans who have no idea of what makes a champion. Rockets stand no chance with Westbrook. Harden, maybe but a closer is needed along dude him. Chris Paul was perfect.

Pop ain't black, but is embarrassed to be white close enough?

If you're the Spurs, WHY would you trade Aldridge for EG, Damaged Goods, and filler???

House would actually leave Houston and be better. Even if it's not San Antonio.
