You're government has total control of the country. They let businesses run as if they're capitalist, but at the end of the day, the government has total control over those businesses. It is technically not communist in the traditional sense, but it certainly isn't freedom.

Morey should have known better. He's a visible high profile executive and well known by the Chinese government. He's dealt with the Chinese for years and should have known what the reaction would have been. His unsolicited opinion pissed on the government of a business partner of the Rockets and the NBA. Yeah, he has the right to free speech but sometimes that comes with consequences.
