You don't get to concede of your own accord, that was part of the bet. You tied your name to heypartner. Once he conceded the bet was over, and our side lost. I think he conceded too early, but it doesn't matter. As I remember this bet from the beginning, the objectives were that the Rockets would upgrade the center or PF position before the SF spot. Simple enough. Griffin is a SF, and will play as such. Thus, our side lost... BUT ...if Griffin does play PF before he plays SF, or if Langhi sees time at SF before Griffin does, then we conceded too early. This isn't rocket science, people. Crispee, let them do what they want till Oct. 31. Ya know, I'm beginning to see why some people complain about post counts. I've been this new name for a couple of weeks, and really don't notice any difference. I still piss off stupid newbies, and I still patrol the late night time slots. I think the majority thinks HP conceded too early, but when you get a potential superstar like Eddie Griffin, it's hard not to think he'll be an instant starter. I'm sure by October, Griffin will be our starting SF, his defense has already shown to be amazing in just the first summer league, he could have a horrible shot and no dribbling skills and he'd still be very important as a starting SF. It's been said over and over that the final decision comes down to Crisco and HP. I think it sucks that HP folded so quickly before Griffin could even play his first summer league game, but a deal's a deal, and Team HP goes down as a team.
