I was wrong about Kevin McHale

Not sure I would have given McHale an extension, however it is hard to argue with his results. It may not be pretty, but he's been winning since he's gotten here (including the lockout year). Harden has been able to grow from a great 6th man to an All-star to now a Superstar and arguably best player in the game (He does deserve some credit for that too, correct?). He's no Pop or Carlisle (I think probably the 2 best coaches in todays game) but he's been able to get the players to play at an elite level at times. I think Mchale is in the top half of NBA coaches, maybe even top 10. Stop hating and respect the man already!

I respect him and his accomplishments. But when it comes to chess games that are part of playoffs (with one coach trying a strategy and other countering and so on) - until I see it -- I am going to be uneasy with McHale.

McHale does counter effectively but he delays too long before doing it. It's like he doesn't trust his instincts.

We just need to get a rhythm going. We were one James Harden layup away from taking out the Spurs in game two.

I think we are going to be okay. All that said, I think we should give Nick Johnson, KJ and Clint LONG looks before the playoffs start. We are sorely lacking on youthful intensity and effort.

Bev and DMo injuries may have hurt the team, but let's get real. We still have two max level players on the roster that should be good to go in the playoffs. If we flame out again in the first round, no one is going to make the excuse about us not having a couple of role players when we have our "superstars" playing.

We should get out of the first round with 2 all-stars playing heavy minutes. If we don't, McHale's ass should be out.

Every playoff team in the West has that. Not all have homecourt in the first round.
