The true beard of Houston. No secret as to why the Jets made that next step, guaranteed we would be at least 6-3 with him right now. How did we end up with Hoyer over him again?

That moment in your franchise history when you start fawning over memories of Ryan Fitzpatrick....

Funny, it's nothing new that Fitzpatrick is a better QB than Hoyer and Mallett. That has always been the case. But NFL fan loves change. That said, there's a lot more problems with this team than QB.

Meh, Hoyer has better stats than him. Just an average QB.

The jets are only 5-4 with a really good defense.

And even if Fitz was the answer at QB, the rest of our roster is mostly a disaster

Stats, ye, Hoyer, the king of garbage time. If we ever go down 100 points I'm sure he'll throw 8 TD's.

Even career wise they're pretty even.

There is not much of a difference between Hoyer and Fitz. Hoyer has been playing better than Fitz did last year anyway. Only difference is the defense is horrible and not getting turnovers.

Hoyer throws less interceptions but Fitzpatrick can extend plays with his running.

Hoyer, Mallett, Fitzpatrick.....none of these guys fit into our plans for the future, so why even talk about any of them?

Yeah that one mystified me too - you exchange one mediocre journeyman for another - and he cost more money.
Still, Fitzy leads the league in self caused ints and it's not even close.

Well we should only talk about a handful of players because this garbage roster needs to be almost completely overhauled

Fitzpatrick is garbage. He was a liability as qb and team won in spite of him. People forget Texans defense and foster carried this team.

You put Fitzpatrick on THIS years team and we would be just as bad if not worse. I'll take hoyer over ****zy easily.
