Can Russ shoot anymore long 2's? I think he can still increase his percentage of 20 ft. jumpers off the dribble!
As a fan I've been so demoralized since the trade. I never felt good about it, and feel even worse now. No picks, no cap space, no tradeable salaries, our star GM has been tactically neutered, our owner is garbage, and we're locked into Westbrook for all of Harden's prime. This franchise is trash right now, we just happen to have one of the greatest players ever in the middle of the trash so we're still gonna win a lot of games.
I wish I had the blind hope that some of y’all have defending the Westbrook trade. I wish I could blindly talk myself into him like Thunder fans always did. God bless y’all.
I respect Harden for playing no matter what. Something most of the stars in the league don't do anymore. No excuse for Westbrook to be sitting tonight with the team already shorthanded. Just gave this game away for no reason.
Wait. I thought we were supposed to be better when Westbrook doesn't play because our losses are all his fault.
Because his replacements are even worse? He sucks in relative to the % of the cap space that his ridiculous contract takes up, that’s the issue.
I have no problem with load managing Russ for certain games I wish Harden could be afforded that opportunity, but we are too trash without him we are under .500 when he doesn’t score at least 40, it’s ridiculous aside from the inevitable 5 vs 8 that we will face in the playoffs, our level of play when Harden isn’t in Wilt mode is what worries me the most we are garbage when he’s off the floor Is Harden gonna average an efficient 40 through 4 rounds of the playoffs? No one man should have all that pressure.
Not upset he didn't play. Just wish we had 40 mil dollars on a guy who actually fits our system and can shoot.
There are games where I think he has to do that for us to win such as the Cavs and Magic. Then there are games like the raptors and Suns where he doesn't. Overall though I agree that he is being depended on far too much. Really want to see what the team looks like with him just playing off the ball or him having a bad night
Why would any Houston Rockets fan want the team to lose. And lose this team will if Harden is made to play off ball all game, nevermind a "bad night". Harden is unstoppable because he is the ultimate triple threat. And to be that be needs the ball in his hands.
Because man, outside of our record this whole thing is very similar to last year's run. Could it work maybe? but in order to be a contender have to have Russ become the CP like performer of 2 seasons ago and win games without harden having to have big nights
