@tinman its over bro, my whole point of this thread was to avoid stuff like this. I joined last year when everyone thought Melo was Houston bound. That's it. When I say I don't care about any other stints its in relation to bringing up the past to forecast the future. We can discuss what he did as a Nugget, Knick or Thunder but reality is that now all that matters is whats done as a Rocket. I'll focus on that going forward. The past obviously refers to yesterday, last week, etc.. that is the past you know Who's we? Team Melo and Rockets nation coming together for the common goal of an NBA Championship. How low does your self esteem have to be to vicariously live through only one player in an entire league? The only thing more sad than that is creating threads about yourself thinking that anyone actually cares.
LOFs are still here, so therefore he can be a previously banned one. You could believe everything he says for all I care. I don't believe his story AT ALL. This behavior was consistent of other LOFs.
in my 17 years here there have been plenty of fans of other teams and player only fans. you dont have to be a rocket fan to join the conversation about rockets basketball. its even ok for a knick fan (i assume) to still be salty over 1994. that's understandable. where non-rockets fans will get in trouble here is when they root against the rockets, put their favorite player ahead of the our team, or disrespect the championship teams. this is just not the place for that. besides that, general rules of thumb: don't make knee-jerk reaction threads, don't start too many threads at the same time, don't purposely make misleading threads/thread titles/posts, and generally respect that people post their OPINIONS which by definition cannot be wrong no matter how much you disagree with them. in those cases you can post your own opinion in response but its not a good idea to pass judgement on the other person's opinion by calling them wrong, dumb or anything of that sort. just say i disagree and this is why, and if you can't reach an agreement then just agree to disagree and move on respectfully. @H-Town Melo stick to that and you'll be fine, and welcomed by most!
so really... you have no proof or any direct quotes or evidence to prove he's a LOF - but since they exist and you believe his behavior is like that of a LOF - you're comfortable calling him a liar and making the accusation... Yep, dvallerio or vallaurio or whatever the hell his name is made the same assessment of me... With those rules of thumb, we're mostly respectful compared to the numbers and traffic this site gets. @what was a Memphis fan. There was some cool nuggets and blazers fans here too. We give **** to Spurs fans but even they're welcome if they just stick to bball.

There's too much attackativeness on this board... like when that SAS fan came on during the playoffs to give his support for the Rox - and a good part of the board was just rude as all hell to the dude... We can be fervent fans - and still have some class and social decorum...
I'm a Lin-only fan disguised as a Rockets fan who signed up in 2007 when Lin was not getting scholarships in high school in the off chance that he comes to the Rockets 6 years later knowing that Les loves to sign Asian players for China money.
