    Well something has to give. JV is perfect in division series games and pitchers on 3 days rest only wi 37-38% of the time.

    but Verlander isn’t just some pitcher so..

    If the Rays can come back from two games down to beat Greinke, Verlander, and Cole in a 5 game series, then they deserve to win the whole damn thing. Let’s get it on!

    No - you go G, V, C, U, G, V, C all on normal or extra rest. You'll get the same # of starts from each player, so there's no need to do 3 days' rest. It's the whole reason they traded for a 3rd elite starter.
