Win out. Spurs lose once. Grizzlies lose twice. Gasol and Conley out tonight. It can and will be done!!!!
Going to be awfully tough for the Rockets to get #2. Spurs have Suns and Pelicans to close out. Clippers have Nuggets and Suns. Grizzlies have Warriors and Pacers. Likely that if the Rockets win out, they get 5th. Anything can happen but I don't know if the Spurs or Clippers will lose out.
Playing it out. Houston 56-26 W vs. NO W @ Charlotte W vs. Utah Clippers 56-26 W vs. Denver W @ Phoenix Memphis 55-27 L @ Golden St. W vs. Indiana San Antonio 56-26 W vs. Phoenix W @ New Orleans 1. GS 2. SA 3. LAC 4. Portland 5. Houston (w/ homecourt advantage) 6. Memphis 7. Dallas 8. OKC This is most likely. I can't see LAC losing and I have a really hard time San Antonio loses, however I think New Orleans will be sky high for that game as they play for the 8 seed so you never know. Most likely scenario is we get 5th seed and honestly I'd rather play Portland than any of SA, LAC or Memphis. So for me it's either get the 2 seed, very unlikely, or hope for the 5th seed.
Wrong. Clippers can be #2 above the Rockets even if the Rockets win the division assuming the Clippers win out. EDIT: Nm I'm wrong. lol My apologies.
I stand corrected. Nice catch. Still need a loss from San Antonio and the Warriors not to rest guys vs. Memphis. New Orleans playing for the 8 seed is our best hope.
Orange is right. Here is the tiebreaker procedure at the bottom. http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/matchups
