    Morey dodging bullets like Neo.

Morey did tell Ryno the trade was never close. so maybe he never really wanted Melo.

You haven't even seen him play and you are still saying you want him in Houston? How about WATCHING him play? He is certainly still the same inefficient chucker on OKC that he has been his whole career, only now he is taking a lot more threes (probably to give Brodie space) where he has been quite meh. Don't get me wrong, the man has talent and can score, but he also takes really bad shots and does not play in a manner that is conducive for team ball. Could he have changed for the Rockets? Who knows. For Anderson alone last year, before this season I would have been willing, but with how Ryno has been performing, really hard to consider it anymore.

No. I didn't say I wanted him in Houston. Read what I wrote. I stopped reading from there assuming it was all based on that notion. I was always indifferent about the trade. Anderson, when playing to his potential, is a great fit.

Still wish we got him. I wonder if Melo is even happy there or is just chucking up shots because he is unhappy. I bet deep down he still wishes he was a Rocket

Imagine if they bench him. He will complain and whine just like Marc Gasol. Then he will be unhappy and implode their season.

    Just do it :)
But pretty sure if he gets bench billy will get fire.

Elite big that rim runs off pick and roll and protects the paint, a couple of hyper-efficient distributors and scorers, relentless 3 and D or whatever the hell OKC is doing.

Glad I stuck by Ryno throughout all of this and never liked the idea of Melo and have been proven right. Ryno is so vital to our team's success, it's ridiculous. He has been defending well, rebounding well and shooting is back on point. What else you want from your $20 million man and starting PF? :)

I'd still probably take him. I think he'd be much better with harden and Paul feeding him. The only thing I see Ryan do is shoot threes

I'm not sorry the Melo trade didn't go through, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the possibility of one isn't over. If Chris Paul has been interested in playing with Melo for years, Morey might very well make it happen this summer if Melo pushes for it again. The way things are going, it's possible Presti might entertain a Melo for Ryno trade rather than lose Melo for nothing. And Melo has a history of pushing trades to the team he wants to go for favorable contract terms.

A lot of people (including myself) are hoping Chris is recruiting LeBron, but it's very possible that Chris might think Melo is a better fit on this team than LeBron and/or wants to win a championship with friends with something to prove.

Regardless, what a great time to be a Rockets fan.

First of all Ryan Anderson deserves a ton of respect seriously! Anderson is key to how deep we go. I wanted Melo and honestly i still do only because CP3 but it would be cool if Ryno took a pay cut. Anderson was a victim of a misunderstanding... CP3 has helped his game but CP3 doesn't get all the credit because Anderson still has to make shots, rebound and play D. For what Anderson's skill set is... i believe he's doing a really good job.

CP3 is such a better player at this stage, can do everything and is a major glue stick.

I think Carmelo’s style would have been a fit here. With Harden and Paul feeding him the ball, he’d be averaging about 24 points a game.

But I think we’d have a few less wins.

Durant and Westbrook couldn’t get along, how did they think Carmelo would do any better? Westbrook has been giving a lot of his shots to George and Carmelo, and results haven’t been too positive yet. But they aren’t even playing close to the level I thought they could.

As it is you see Paul and Harden gripe at each other on the court. But both of those guys are team players and never been thought of as chukers.... so it’s wirking.

Not eating crow until Anderson shows this against GSW in the playoffs.

But it has been refreshing to see him actually compete for once. Makes me wonder where this was all last season.

The media has gone silent on OKC.....Remember you client turn it on ESPN w/o seeing clips of Westbrook. Now I can' find them to save my life......And I search really hard from channl to channel. TNT usually talks about the other games goin on and nuthin. What happen to that 2nd best team in the west? That Westbrook just needed some quality players beside him and the thunder will be great. SAS has to be silent because he is a Me o lover. Skip payless is silent because there is no excuse for him to give. Westbrook is good but not great. He can' make players better. His team is not good...Harden is the real MVP and now they kno w it.
