Jaxson Hayes, Wendell Carter, Zubac, Hartenstein, hernangomez, Whiteside, Eubanks, Dwight Powell, etc. it’s more than that and most of these are backup level bigs

Bigs are circling Wood, I meant Houston, on the calendar and coming in the arena to have their way with us and it’s getting frustrating. Go back to a tradition lineup because we’re getting bullied.

The top three players in the draft are all 6’10 or taller. So, maybe next year we scrap small ball. In the meantime, let small ball and the losses continue.

The 6'5" non above the rim PJ Tucker playing PF or center
    "Position-less" 4/5 was exposed in 19/20.

Now we use 6'4" Tate in the same role.
Yes, that same second year player that went undrafted.
And we wonder why we lose?

Patrick Fertitta still fantasizes about multiple guards on the court
and using the Thunder model that used CP3-Schroder-SGA.

I've been saying give me more height at the wing position for years.

Trade deadline is over and there aren't exactly decent bigs on the street waiting to be signed to a 10-day contract.

I don’t want Chet. Don’t believe in that frame or his development long term here

The small ball defense requires a defensive cog down low who can hold his own despite being small. PJ Tucker fit that fill, Draymond fits that bill. When you don't have they player,.you can't play that style. It's so dumb, we are constantly fighting mismatches and when it is a traditional matchup (5 guarding 5), we have wood guarding their 5

Rockets don’t need to overcompensate in the front court with some sort of huge pickup truck

we are confident in what we’re packing under the hood

Adding to the list. Marvin Bagley had a personal best against us (before he got traded). Spurs' Poeltl lit it up. Hornets game with Plumlee; we didn't see him at the first meeting (because of injury) but on the 2nd meeting, he dominated.

Switch defense has its place, but it isn't without its counter move. Plus the bigs we have are not the best at switch defense. This is a case where when the other team adjusted, we didn't counter their counter.

Hate to tell you this man, but I don't think the HC even knows how many wins and losses we have. I don't think anyone has any intention of keeping tabs on that stuff this season, so better pack it up if it's not for you.

The plan for the last year has been to gather the best talent available, regardless of fit. That, and other things, account for what we got.

Generally, I agree with it, But next year, things should start to change. But IMO, it will take us beyond next year to even out the roster fully unless we get very fortunate in trades/draft.

Maybe that's why they kept Wood. Playing him the majority of every game ensures we lose. Top 3 pick here we come.

    Silver lining?

    Method to the madness?

Harty is his ex. Now he's married to Christopher. But if we had kept Harty...

I get that. There were the same fears with Kevin Durant and Shawn Bradley and we can't know 100% which way he'll go. But what we do know is that he's a 7 ft. defensive specialist with strong offensive IQ and shooting ability. How often do you see that (besides Mobley last year). If we are swinging for the fences, only Chet and Jabari have the home run potential at positions of need.

    Agree with the last sentence.

I fear Chet - I don't like the Mobley comparison because Chet has only half Mobleys width across the shoulders. He is also sub par athletically compared to Mobley. I mean, he might work out, and if we pick him I sure hope he does! Physical frame screams massive bust potential - apart from that he has massive star potential...
