It’s been a myriad of reasons: Pitching injuries, 5 quality SP on the IL, 10 pitchers total, not enough farm depth to cover for it Some bad luck, balls not going the Astros way and bad luck timing of hitting Some bad management, poor bullpen usage, questionable lineup construction Shockingly bad performances from the elite bullpen arms of Hader, Abreu, and Pressly Jose Abreu is not a major league caliber player
