The ridiculousness to me is that expressing dissatisfaction somehoe means someone isn't a fan. That's silly. I care enough to be dissatisfied. If I wasn't a fan...if I didn't care...it wouldn't matter to me at all.

Exactly. Bandwagon fans don't care enough to criticize the team. They're probably Cowboys fans this year.

Yeah, where is this coming from? I mean, I'd get it if we were 3-1 (LOL!) and nitpicking issues, but this team makes a dumpster fire look like a beautiful bonfire on a Hawaiian beach. If I had to pick who was a real fan of the team, I'd lean more towards those who are upset about this disaster of a season than those who criticize the negativity.

It's one thing to complain and criticize. It is another thing to post on message boards how you are no longer going to support the team and never acknowledge anything positive the team has done.

Especially since it'd take about 5 seconds to compile that list.

You're making my point. Thanks for identifying yourself.

Where have I posted that I'm no longer supporting this team? I will continue to root for them and hope they turn around the putrid start to their history. You can continue to be thankful just to have an NFL team and demand 0 responsibility for the product on the field. Enjoy!

Well, you said it'll take only 5 seconds to come up with a list of positive things the teams has done. Of course there are more negatives than positives but keep things in perspective.

    1. Arian Foster - undrafted free agent
    2. JJ Watt - 11th pick to DPOY
    3. The defense in Wade Phillips first two seasons
    4. Team spending money to get JJo and DMan (and avoiding Nnamdi)...led to the 1st playoff seasons
    5. Winning the 1st game of the season vs the Cowboys
    6. Beating the Bengals in the 1st round of playoffs
    7. Resigning JJ Watt
    8. Picking Mario and avoiding Vince

Just off the top, that took more than 5 seconds

Yeah those were positives...over the course of several years. I was mostly looking for positives from the team from this current season. I'm upset with recent developments.

Yeah, that list is almost non-existent. But the season is young.

    Football outsiders:

The two worst teams in DVOA, Chicago and San Francisco, have also played the two toughest schedules so far. That makes some sense given that opponent adjustments are far from full strength. Chicago and San Francisco may not be as bad as they look given who they've played. But that wouldn't be a particularly good sign for the teams just ahead of them in the ratings: Houston ranks 30th despite having the No. 22 schedule so far, and Tampa Bay ranks 29th despite having the No. 26 schedule so far.

Drafting Travis Johnson when Aaron Rodgers was on the board. This breaks my soul everytime I think about it.

I'll always support them. It's just hard to expect anything great to happen when the overall talent level isn't there.

Especially at QB. How many years has it been now?

I remember being excited at the prospects of us drafting Derrick Johnson that year. Then we traded down :(

I was in the Army at the time so I didn't get the chance to look into that draft in depth at the time, but man....that was a brutal draft for the Texans.

Until I DIE, or until my neck tatoo logo fades off. Or until I get enough money to have it removed.

    Idk. Probably a long time.
