How long does it take CD and JVG to realize they need get rid of Moochie immediately and get a qualified backup PG?

Moochie is hurting us hard right now. Last 6 games he scored total 6pts, one or two asts and 6-7mins per game. Nobody can backup Steve Francis and he had to play very very heavy minutes.

Without Francis, the backcourts just totally collapse. But Francis was tired when he always needs to play 42, 43 mins per game. That course him more TOs and missing free throws.

Rox bench is crap, but backup PG is fatal for us right now. This cannot continue. So my question is since Moochie has 3 more years and 11 millions total left (thanks to CD and Rudy) , can Rox make their decision and buy him out?

To me, if Rox continue playing like this, they will lose fans fast. So get rid of some very bad contract and get some good backup should be the first priority for them. Eleven million is a lot of money, but it still like peanuts if it will cost Rox several playoff seasons.

Moochie is the least of our problems.

And who would you suggest? Teams aren't exactly lining up to trade their "qualified backup PG" for Moochie Norris. Why would they?

Qualified point guards don't grow on trees.

Then cut him, spare sometime to do the scouting job.

And I disagree there is no some good backup PG out there, how does Spurs find Jason Hart and Magic get Strickland? They are all better then Moochie!!!!1

If you cut him, you end up with Matt Maloney Part II. Remember him? The Rockets do. They are still paying him.

Moochie's contract is a nightmare, but until they can either sucker a team into taking him or force him on someone as part of another deal, we're going to have to live with him.
