Your thoughts, roster moves, and philosophy on how to defeat the World Champion Heat.

    X.....................Camby
    Scola...............patterson
    Parsons..........x
    X......................Lee
    Dragic..............x

This roster has to change into a young upcoming San Antonio Spurs mold of a team. I think its the only chance to compete with the Heat or Thunder. My X represents holes in our roster that have not been addressed. We need star power in the paint and on the wings.

Lets try getting out of the lottery first.

Good news, the HEAT will be in full decline mode before we even come close to title contention.

An actual low post offense? The Hakeem-era Rockets would have wiped the floor with Miami. So too would have the championship Spurs, the Shaq-Kobe Lakers, hell you don't have to go too far back.

I think this year's playoffs showed that Wade is on the brink. He's got one, maybe two more great seasons left, and then he'll be just another role player himself. By next year's playoffs he'll take an even more diminished role than he had in this one.

As far as "championship windows" go, I much more fear the Thunder's.

We have to pull some diamonds in the draft because I dont see a trade a Gasol caliber trade happening again.

with some sort of post offense. the difference was the heat being better in the half court because lebron's post play. i mean, you have to take advantage of the bosh, battier, haslem front court they were putting out there

I agree a twin tower like frontline with at least one star wing could really slow down the heat. The thunder's lack of a post game was their downfall.
