Known various people that worked here and have been grossed out by stories. Their employee bathroom has sub species still yet discovered by man. These are the same guys preparing and serving the meals. Not that it matters but tony vallone is gay btw. Cleanest place I ever saw kitchen and worked at was pappasitos. You can eat off their floor. This list is a paid joke.
Did you tell them about it, or do you just plan to complain to us and not do anything? You need to let them know. What if they fixed it the same day you went?
what the **** is oxheart? i just looked up their menu, sounds ****ing terrible. and ****ing sorry ass taqueria laredo makes the list but The Melting Pot doesn't? this list can go so to hell.
She doesnt get paid by the restaurants....my restaurant friend owners have had run ins with her. She just thinks she has an amazing palate and that she has exquisite taste. She's completely full of herself. She put good places on there...but everyone will have a different opinion. For example, Breakfast Klub is on the list, but Max's Wine Dive does Breakfast Klub's specialty better...and has a much better brunch menu. She put two Persian restaurants on the list...and those places are okay. Not top 100 worthy.
Small menu places are the best...bc you specialize in a few dishes. Places that have books as menu's are generally not good bc they'll tend to be avg across the board. All those restaurants at the top have excellent dishes.

no I am going to complain about it since it's in a top 100 list. Where would you put a place that had roaches in your list? Top 100? Not only that the food at Teotihucan or however you spell it sucked. So the food was shat and it had roaches. yet a place like pappasitos or pappadeauxs doesn't even make the list? These lists are clearly paid. It gets on my nerves how folks like to try to be hip and name places like teotihucan when there are plenty of other mexican hole in wall that should get recognition way before teotihucan. and all the while no love for pappasitos? I worked at a an f ton of restaurants (fertitta,vallone you name it)in houston and of all the places I worked at pappasitos was the cleanest best place. I am telling you these guys were on it. They simply do not play around at pappasitos and pappadeauxs. Its funny to me that that it's hip to hate on pappasitos and try to be the man about some sorry ass place. This list sucks and I think it stinks that these marketers influence so much. Vallone is an expert at working the writers and the social scene. It's definitely not about food I can tell you that.
YOU'RE a chain restaurant. and it's still better than taqueria laredo. and feast is on the list, isn't feast a chain restaurant too?
And fogo de chao is not the be all end all but in terms of 100 I would say it makes the list way before half of the paid ones this list has.
