Making it sound like he should be following Arian Foster's footsteps.

Same. I think it might be implying the karma police will get you if you flop.

Imagine the lines spoken with Yoda's voice.

Most of these are either Zen or Buddhist sayings transformed into basketball-related quotes. The last is obviously from Yoda. :)

I loved all it, especially "Before slam dunk, chop wood, carry water.... After slam dunk, chop wood, carry water."

At first I thought that this line just referred to the importance of hard work and perfection through constant repetition, but after some thought, it revealed to me another meaning.

It really captures the nature of moments; that despite the perceived sequential movement of time and action, or moments, within time, the direction of movement is ironically not linear, but is instead cyclical, and as such, there is a greater connection and relativity between all moments despite the space between them. The only words that are different in that line are “before” and “after,” which further reflects the irony of the line as there is no before, and there is no after, there is only the moment that is all moments; however, it is during the brief second of the before and after that we see the Bearded One flying in eternity, moving without moving, realizing and touching, if only for that brief second, the realm of the super-state.
