A combination of defensive IQ and offensive IQ.

Also very good individual defensive players. Capela's defense alone puts team at another and then you have Paul.

    Tucker in the middle.

On offense you have smart unselfish player who in their nature don't commit stupid turnovers who all know and play within their roles.

Very good points and that's not even including the FTs that Harden and Co. account for!

I must say, it's pretty great that we're 7-2, but instead of worrying what happens when we stop hitting our threes, we can instead look forward to what happens when we start hitting our threes. We've already led 6 of our 9 games by at least 19 points while shooting well under par. Think about that for a second.

    slight correction: neck and neck

    :p

Rockets had much more oRebs and much less TOs than opponents. However, I doubt those two stats would be enough to hold off Warriors unless the offense can be improved significantly.

Our Rockets are not an enigma. We're a great basketball team. And, it's not hard to see why.

We can dictate/win at any pace....any style.

    We play championship defense.

We take care of the ball.

    The Beard & CP3.

Anyone watching Houston they know they really aren't an accurate 3 point shooting team. Many games we have been out shot by the other team. It makes me cringe when people in the media say that Houston has a bunch of sharp shooters, it shows they don't watch Rockets basketball.

I explained why we take more shots. We win on the secondary stats that lead to more shots. Better turnover margin = more shots. Better rebounding percentage = more shots. Better foul margin = more shots.
