    Apparently, the Houston Chronicle has discontinued their "comment section" on their Sports Page site. It used to be run by Viafoura. Don't see it anymore. Is that what you guys are seeing?

    Just looked and it looks like the comments are still there, to me.

    Very sad. Chron commenters are JUST barely better than Youtube commenters.

    I liked the Chron sports comments because they reminded me it's possible to be dumber than some of the folks on Clutchfans.

    My dyslexia interpreted this headline as "Fans No Longer Interested in What Houston Chronicle Thinks", which of course has been the case for years.

    Because Lin's fans stalked every Lin article and constantly trashed the comments sections with a bunch of hateful **** aimed at his teammates, coach, the gm, Houston, and the organization. Mchale and Houstonians are racist rednecks, Beverley is a crackhead who needs a shower, etc. etc.
    I'm not surprised one bit, they didn't want kids who visited the Chronicle to have to read those types of comments.

    There is the word "comments" under each article, but there are none. If you press on "comments" it just takes you to another article. There is no place to leave a comment as before. Looks like they shut it down.

    i doubt it had something to do with a certain pg of asian heritage. Have you guys looked at the chronicle's site, even if it's about the texans, it always turns into a close down the border argument. same with youtube.- people just love getting a reaction.
