    I am very fed up with yahoo's dull stories on their main page and therefore I am looking for a new one. What is the best home page to have where you can get important not time wasting news?

    Well it's better than many of my friends who have facebook as their home page.

    I have google. I hate to see news on the first thing I see when I open teh interwebz.

    Have you tried Clutchans Hangout for your home page?

    BBC: news.bbc.co.uk - Entire sections for every region of the globe.
    Newser.com: Just a big grid with pictures and headlines on it, enough categories to make it worthwhile.

    American news is basically political gaffes, News of the Weird, crime reports and sports scores.

    That having been said, Washington Post website should give you everything you need. London Times, Wall Street Journal and New York Times websites are probably the "best," but the the first two are full suscription and New York Times starts charging after few storeis/days.

    Try a website that uses user feedback to determine the days top stories from multiple news and entertainment sources.

    some years ago I used nba.com, now I use yahoo.com, I have my mail there, and only see the stories Im interested.
