    That year was a screwy year for the NBA. I think the 2 teams with the worst records to make the playoffs (Kings and Rockets - both were under .500) ended up playing in the Western Conference Finals.

    Yeah I forgot about that.... Actually I think the Rockets had a losing record that year with a 43 - 39 or 42 - 40 record... They were the only team to make it to the Finals with a Losing record..

    It was also around the time the Rockets moved from the Eastern Conference to the Western Conference. At least I think that was around then. It's been too long.
