Made by my theatre company, The Catastrophic Theatre. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/REnI0wdHos8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Had some really funny bits in there. Really nice work. Is the commercial being played anywhere specific? Did you play any role in the production, etc? Local beer and local theater seems like a great combo.
goodness. not to be a hater, but that was absolutely atrocious. the different strokes girl is a hottie though. also, calling your own stuff "hilarious"...not a good look.
The attention span of most people these days is way too short for something like this. Perhaps cut it down to several smaller commericals? I thought the elf bit was funny.
I understood the humor perfectly, but the direction and point was sporadic at best... it felt forced and just became uncomfortable 60 seconds in. It is no different than the type of humor found in an Old Spice commercial, except they beat the concept to death. I think it could have easily been taken down to about a minute or so focusing on only the strongest skits. They could have accomplished more with less (in my opinion of course). I should say that the look and feel was well done, so kudos for that.
That wasn't that funny to me, but I am not a thespian. Respect of local beers, love St. Arnolds (Beer, not that ad) more than Southern Star, Karbach, and buffalo bayou. But as of late Real Ale has my liver
Oh whatever. It was a lark. We made a commercial (for the web) as a favor to a local business that supports us and asked us to do it. I thought it was hilarious so I said so. Sorry no one else did.
Nice. I am going to have to have a St. Arnolds when I am in Houston next week. Here is my contribution to the celebration of beer! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gUrrsXiGVWg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Actually, if you cut it down to two 30 second spots using the funniest bits it would be pretty good. Its just too long and drags a bit in its current incarnation. You have to remember that you know these people personally..so its going to be funnier to you. The production values looked pretty good though. I say "Good Job". Craft beers pretty much appeal to hipsters and beer snobs..and this spot is aimed at those people. You hit your target audience well.
