Apparently, Ben Affleck took a verbal jab at Schnieder when he heard Schneider make an obviously tongue-in-check joke about his new movie, The Animal, beating Pearl Harbor at the box office. When he heard about Affleck's comments, he said, "Well, at least my movies are intentionally funny." ------------------ The internet is about the free exchange and sale of other people's ideas. - Futurama
That was hilarious! Affleck's ego is getting out of control! By the way, for you guys who didn't hear Affleck's comment he said that Pearl Harbor is not a "Rob Schneider movie" whatever that means! Talk about leaving yourself open for that Schneider blast! ------------------ "I'm not here to protect my reputation, I'm here to make my reputation! Mama Barkley didn't raise no chumps!" - Charles Barkley [This message has been edited by RocksMillenium (edited June 01, 2001).]
yeah i heard that on rome yesterday.. pretty funny ------------------ Shane "Save Our Rockets" "Life without basketball in Houston........without an arena that is what it will be"
Duece Bigalow is a classic. It is funnier EVERY single time I watch it. Manwhore... !!! DaDakota ------------------ If you like RTS games, check out this one. www.frontierwars.com coming soon to a PC near you.
btw, whatever happened to Adam?... The only funny ones were Waterboy, and the one where he gets his butt kicked by ol Bob Barker of Price is Right! ------------------ I eat nutria now..courtesy of mc mark!!!
(I thought) "Men Behaving Badly" was funny. Too bad they cancelled it. University (What's up with Batemans and recent, short-lived sitcoms?) Blue ------------------
Waterboy was good Billy Madison was average Big Daddy was funny Wedding Singer was good Happy Gilmore (the one with Barker) was hilarious Never saw Little Nicky He has a couple due out in the next two years. I like both his and Schneider's movies. ------------------ The internet is about the free exchange and sale of other people's ideas. - Futurama
Ditto University, Men Behaving Badly was a great show. As for Little Nicky I thought it was hilarious. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams and Lisa Malosky fan club. My Mockumentary atheistalliance.org [This message has been edited by DEANBCURTIS (edited June 01, 2001).]
Rob Schneider's movies were funny? ------------------ I don't want to waste my time And become a casualty of society. I'll never fall in line Become a victim of your conformity and back down.
I don't really think so. I can group him in with some other SNL characters people think are funny and I just don't get. ------------------ "Light travels faster than sound, so some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak." -- Brian Williams (now Bison Dele) commenting on Isiah Thomas.
None of the old SNL cast can compete with the late Chris Farley. The guy was an absolute riot. Some of his most famous skits: -Matt Foley: motivational speaker -Bennett Brauer: news consultant (I'm not "hip", I leave "dried up deoderant cakes under my arms for weeks at a time," I don't wash the space between the crotch and my legs." Tommy Boy- absolutely kicked ass, classic Black Sheep- not as good as Tommy Boy but still amusing Beverly Hills Ninja- okay, some funny parts Almost Heroes- pretty funny ------------------ "Oh No..." -Bill Walton in 97 just before Stockton's buzzer beater
Just want to chime in as well for Men Behaving Badly being a great show. I guess it just wasn't good enough to beat out the likes of Caroline in the City.
Baqui, Bennett also said : "I may not be 'camera-friendly' and my looks may 'scare kids'" ------------------ "norm, would you like to buy an indian scalp ? This deal isn't gonna make or break me Norm, so don't jerk me around." Harry Carey "Norm, if I had a mohawk scalp, I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you."
I can't believe you thought "Almost Heroes" was better than "Beverly Hills Ninja" But anything with Chris Farley was pretty funny, and the same goes for Adam Sandler. ------------------
Where can i find more of those "dandruff cake" quotes... ------------------ The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?
