Hello Gang, Due to health (ear) condition, I have to stay away from loud places/envorimnets…Every freaking restaurant has music nowadays, so just trying to find real quiet restaurant to take my wife and/or wife and son...This has been a challenge to find, so any help will be greatly appreciated!! Funny, I didn’t care or notice any of this prior to getting dealt with this bad hand, truly miss the carefree/less life…I live in the city, in case that helps… THX
New place opening up in CityCentre called International Smoke, I'm certain it's going to be empty and quiet. However, you may hear an occasional donkey yeehaw or a snake hiss.. other than that, it should be dead silent..
Although you want to show your family a good time, but maybe this is an opportunity you can take to stay and cook at home? I know nothing of you or your background, OP, and this isn't to imply that you aren't close with your family or anything like that, but this is a great chance to strengthen your relationship with your wife and son. Plus, learning to cook (better) is a great life skill to have.
Many years ago, my wife and I enjoyed a quiet dinner at Damien's Cucina Italiana downtown. NOTE: kinda pricey.
Pho Binh on Fountainview Rim Tanon on Richmond Balls Out Burger on Durham Star Pizza on Shepherd Cafe Brazil on Dunlavy Spicy Girl on Travis All fairly quiet with no music and great food.
Another one I thought of if you are near downtown: Quattro in the Four Seasons is very good and very quiet.
There is a Fondue Pot place on Richmond/westimer and Beltway .. maybe. Been a long time since I have been. It was quiet. High backed boths. Plan on staying for awhile if you go.

Where'd you hear that? 7 posts above yours? Lulz. Osaka on Woodway is decent, it's sushi/Japanese, and I've never seen more than 3 tables full at a time there. No music.
