So me and some of my friends are starting up a music production company and we are looking for someone that can design/create a logo for us. Just wondering if you guys knew of a good affordable place or if any of you do graphic designs and such. Thanks for your help.
Honestly brosef, arent there too many of these around? How do you plan on setting yourself apart? And what is your starting capital like to make sure this is done right + absorb costs to make sure you market correctly? What is the end game? Do any involved parties have any experience or knowledge to effectively run a business, no matter the sector? And how old are you guys? Frankly, if you are talented enough to want to start a company, you honestly can make more money WORKING FOR an established company than investing in an over saturated market that carries an immense amount of risk with no hard sales to track, nor a true sociable client base. You probably wont listen, so good luck.

Yes, because if one thing will set you apart from the rest, it's a $5 logo. Then again, please use them and post ... I gotta know what a five dollar logo looks like.
Do you even know what fiverr is? Its a micro outsourcing website. Small jobs like this with talented people overseas in India, Romania, Philippines take jobs for $5. And yes $5 is a lot of money to some of them, so you can get very good quality work. FYI to the OP, I'd recommend one of these two guys. This guy has over 950 positive feedback for $5 logos. All for CrazyDave making a comment and judging something he has no experience with. Fiverr is really good and its like ebay, you can check feedback before you spend the $5.
Based solely on the images found at the links provided, the $5 logos look to be worth about that much. Like VooDooPope said, most look like some standard type placed near a stock illustration. Not something I'd build a company image around, personally.
How much are you looking to spend? I had the logo design for my dental practice done for $400. I got the logo...as well as business card designs (front and back).
