    They don't, that was wrong. Under the cap teams don't get TEs.

    This doesnt make any sense. Nobody's been signed yet, so Heat are still under the cap and dont get a salary exemption. Signing 3 guys to the max should mean they will have to split like 8 million between 12 spots.

    Crazy exploitation of nonexistent loopholes happening here.

    I don't think they got a trade exception for Beasley. Minny took on extra salary with this trade since they are under the cap. The loss of salary frees up more money for the Heat who are also under the cap.

    Haha, so for those keeping score at home, that means Miami now has less than $9 million to sign 9-11 players. This is epic. I guess they are going to start going to pick up games and sign players like Rod Strickland to contracts.

    trust me, a few role players here and there will sign for mins.

    and those 3 don't need much. right now, they just need another big man who can bang and do the dirty work.

    imagine this: both james and wade are 2-way players. and they're 2 of the most efficient offensive players. the perimeter is covered.

    the heat will play with a lineup of james at PG, wade SG, miller SF, bosh PF A TON. and we all know james can cover most PGs pretty well.

    again, they're just missing that big man who can bang/do dirty work (joel antony might already be that guy), plus add 1 guy off the bench and they're ready to go.

    Maybe next season, or maybe trades by teams looking to cut the fat, but I just do not know how this will work.

    joel anthony is a legit guy.

    remember what perkins did before the big 3? 4 points a game and 4 boards in 20+ minutes?

    trust me, the role players the heat bring in will elevate their games. when you have that much attention towards 3 players on the court, the other 2 will have it easy.
