Put in a code in the Robocop vs Terminator game on Genesis and STILL couldn't beat the last boss. Or what I thought was the last boss.

Those ninja gaiden games werent long and i played them enough to know where to stand on certian bosses. PLus u can just run through the levels if u had the fire shield or w.e it was called.

Damn, I'm not worthy. I couldn't pass it without cheating. Also some other ones I want to add are the Simpson's arcade game and paperboy.

I remember renting 'Mario is Missing' for the SNES and never being able to get through the very first part of the game. I was absolutely clueless on what to do. I suppose I was pretty young...

Some others that come to mind:

    • Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
    • Attaining all 120 stars in Super Mario 64 (I hit 117 and couldn't get the last 3... damn red coins)
    • 'TowerDefense: Lost Earth' for the iPhone. Played on normal and the last few missions are unbearably difficult.
    • Contra... not sure how people got through this lol.
    • Super Mario 3 for SNES
    • Super Mario 2 for SNES

That was the WORST game ever. I cannot believe you brought it up, I have no idea how you even played it. Wow, I need to look it up now to see WTF the point was. Crystal lake, Cabin, ah crap 2 hours and I did nothing.

    ^^
    What part of Zelda: ALTP?

    Mine included (for SNES): Axelay

    Smurfs

Star Wars IV: was very difficult, especially the X-Wing mission at the Death Star.

Illusion of Gaia/Time: the part where you had to fight the two vampires arrrrrrr.

    Soul Blazer: some nasty bosses.

Black Thorne: think I was too young and not attached enough to beat it.

I remember a certain gap jump in Dragon's Lair that (at the time) was astronomical.

I remember the dungeons and the puzzles between dungeons being rather difficult.

I bet that if I picked it up now, at age 22, I probably wouldn't have too much of an issue. At the time though...

Also... does anyone remember the re-release of Ocarina of Time for Gamecube as in add-in? 'The Master Quest' i believe is what it was called. They made all of the dungeons more difficult.
