Lebron wins MVP by purposely not trying in order to remove the cancer within his team. Lebron will only be judged upon 60 of his other games and be awarded MVP as well as executive of the year. Stone Walling Morey as well.....
https://94feetreport.com/monday-mus...first-mvp-jazzy-jazz-and-tanking-b794b97306f9 James Harden is running away with the MVP There was a brief time when it looked someone else might be able to pry away the MVP from James Harden. First it was Giannis’ trophy to lose. Then it was LeBron James, or Kyrie Irving or Stephen Curry or Kevin Durant. But right now, is there even a clear second-place? Here is where Harden ranks in various statistical categories: · Points per game: 1 (31.3) · Player Efficiency Rating: 1 (30.3) · Usage Percentage: 1 (36.1) · Win Shares: 1 (10.6) · Win Shares per 48 minutes: 1 (.296) · Offensive Win Shares 1 (8.3) · Box Plus Minus: 1 (10.0) · Offensive Box Plus/Minus: 1 (10.6) · VORP: 2 (5.5) · Real Plus Minus: 2 (6.03) · Assist Percentage: 2 (45.1) · Assists per game: 3 (8.9) Overall, he’s contributing 52.74 points per game between his passing and scoring while boasting a 62.1 true shooting percentage. The only other player to ever top 50 points on 60 percent true shooting was Harden last year. In addition to all of that, the Rockets are tied with the Golden State Warriors for the fewest losses in the league and are 38–10 when Harden has played (compared with 4–3 when he hasn’t.) I don’t care what your criteria is — best player, best player on the best team, elite player that did the most to make his team elite — Harden seems to have all the boxes ticked this season and should be running away with it. His lead is so vast that it’s hard to even come up with a consensus challenger. Is it Durant? LeBron? Kyrie? Stephen Curry? Jimmy Butler? That there isn’t a second makes it all the less likely that anyone can muster enough votes to make this a race unless something drastic happens the last 25 games or so of the season.
the media can’t deny him this year, this thing is honestly a wrap Congrats Jimmy I wish they weren’t doing that dumbass awards show, he should be accepting his trophy in front of the fans during the playoffs...
no doubt, but it’s too late for Lebron...he had his chance when Harden was out with an injury and he blew it it’s Harden’s award to lose...just keep up with GS record-wise and maintain his current statline/advanced stats rankings and it’s a done deal
It would take a massive winning streak by Cleveland to put LeBron back in the race. They've got a game at OKC tomorrow, a home game with the Spurs after the break, and a 6-game road trip in March including stops at Denver and Portland. I don't see it happening.
The Cavs actually still have a pretty lousy roster. Jordan Clarkson and Nance are trash. George Hill can't stay healthy and Hood is the only decent addition they got.
Clarkson and Nance are decent backups. Hill and Hood are very good additions provided they're healthy. That is not a lousy roster at all.
LOL @ some of the mental gymnastics being used in the comments of that tweet. Some people will try to find any conceivable reason to not give it to James Harden.
He does, but he also tells it like it is. Quite frankly, it’s about damn time Harden gets a legit push from someone. Nothing but the facts.
Kellerman is all over the map. Harden is the MVP......unless the Cavs win a bunch of games going forward in which case it's clearly LeBron. Huh? And the Rockets' record post-All-Star Break is irrelevant in all of this?
To have a debate, there has to be 2 sides. So we bring LeBron in as the foil to Harden. Because who else can we realistically bring in?
