It’s very clear there is a directive from the league office or a point of emphasis to not allow Harden to draw fouls. This is almost completely narrative and completely discounts that Harden has a special talent to draw contact and get players out of position. Add in that in the playoffs foul calls fall off a cliff I think it’s better for his game and our offense for him to get ready for this new reality.

It’s okay it might take some games for Harden to adjust to the refs not calling anything and calling bs offensive fouls. But he is more dangerous when he doesn’t try to draw fouls. Every season they add a new Harden rule, he goes on a tear when he gets the handle of how the refs are gonna called him.
