If your claim is that the Warriors never go to Durant iso to close games I’d advise you to go watch our playoff series last year. Or watch more of their games period. You are completely off on this one. It’s by no means their only play to close games, but it happens often. Like someone pointed out, almost every team with dominant isolation players goes to that to close games. Not every single time, but very often. Within the time constraints it is your best bet to actually get a shot off.
Durant was isolating the entire series. Against the suggestion of Kerr no less. And it failed at the end of games which is why the Rockets won both close ones. Harden and Durant looked like garbage at the end of those games. Also, EVEN IF every team in the league isolates at the end of ganes(Not even close to true), it does not make it good offense. And it definitely doesn’t make last night isolation offense good.
