I dont think any idiot would do unless you know what your getting in Zion. He could be not a good as lebron, and lack in certain things, while just avrageing Aaron Gordon numbers and looking for that Harden Superstar to get to a playoff team. Harden is gold man, but the thing is if he cant perform in the playoffs, and you can't build properly around him to get to the next level. It may be option in there to find a team that will give up some goods for him. Your talking about multiple first round picks unprotected from here or there, that can land top 10 rookies, and you should get at least 2 good players back plus a good defensive wing. If the celtics would bite with Jaylen Brown, Jason Taytum, and Hayward Plus 2019 #9 Sac and # 14 and # 20. Thats 3 First Thats good trade Gives rockets building blocks to build a good team around. Gives Irving -->Harden , with Hartford. Thats a big 3 thats gonna win atleast a championship with Rozier plus what ever vets they can surround there.
All the Harden supporters will just keep supporting through years of playoff disappearances. Sure, we can watch him play isoball all year and win few games against bad teams but when playoffs arrive, he disappears. Anyone remember the San Antonio series a few years back? Might as well trade him for the future because losing in playoffs in getting boring
Yep, I would trade Harden for Zion he is 29, not going to change and learn to play smarter at crucial times, and is a great scorer but as a leader, not disciplined enough. DD
You’d be crazy not to. Zion is loved already. This Rockets team is on the other hand hated. You’d likely have things like the #1 jersey. As far as skill set... I’m all in on him. He’s got crazy athleticism, skills to go with it, and most importantly the right mindset. He could have easily just not played another college game. That said... ask for sweetener. Like from the Knicks ask for Mitchell’s robinson
No but watching Harden sludge his way toward his rotation, side step and swipe, barely cross the half court at the 16 second mark gets him looked at hard. He gets all the accolades for his offensive prowess, but at least KD hustles. I remember several times the last game where Harden had a chance to make an offensive player have a more difficult shot and he refuses to contest, box out, or run out to his rotation.
Naw in 93 when we lost for the 3rd time to the Sonics. So easy to be that guy, wouldn’t expect less of you.
Harden is not the problem; it is the supporting cast, too many holes, too many no shows. The team is not well balanced. Now the CP3 contract is an albatross.
Yes and we would be doing James a favor as well. If the Knicks get Zion and KD is going to the Knicks. He wouldn't mind playing with KD again.
