Well since we are talking pretend amateur physiology here, I woudl guess that since the spiciness/capsacin generally makes your nose run, opens up your pores, etc, it might allow for the poisons to leech out more quickly. But that is just a quack theory of mine.

Lots of water before you sleep will help prevent severe headaches. It'll probably keep you awake though.

I heard a vitamin B cocktail is supposed to help, but I don't know for sure.

Exederin has acetometophin. That in combo with alcohol can wreck up your liver really bad.

I usually take a vitamin and two tylenol before I go to bed...I'm not sure about the spicy food, but maybe I'll try it...

I need a power nap b/f the game...

Yeah, I don't know crap either but my guess is spiciness makes your blood vessels more receptive to oxygen. I think the lack of oxygen causes hangover headaches. I'll ask my gf if that's even remotely close.

yeah i know, but it works so damn well i use it anyway. ibuprofen/advil/etc. will tear up your stomach and kidneys pretty bad when mixed with alcohol, so it's a matter of picking your poison.

    starch (bread) and water...

the best way to prevent it is to drink lots of water or maybe sports drink before you go to bed...

people always say take a shot or have a beer in the morning if you have a hangover but ive always felt too sick to even try

true, if you throw up then you wont have a hang over the next morning. becuase you get all the alcohol and its symptoms out of your system.

I always try to either drink to the point that I wont have a hangover to the the point that I'll puke.

Either you go with the hair of the dog and have a nice bloody mary to take the edge off......or have sex with a married man.

    :D

    You choose.

DD - just kidding about number 2.

you shouldn't take tylenol before bed after drinking. Really bad for you. Try alleve or advil

I hear exercise with something skimpy on and then take pictures and post it on here would cure a hangover. At least you'll make my hangover better.

I usually try to drink 3-4 glasses of water before bed, along with 2 alleve. Immediately after I wake up in the morning, I take an Alka-Seltzer Cold Plus packet and two more alleve.

It usually helps, but hair of the dog followed by lots of water is your best bet

according to the doc at the ER i visited this week, what alcohol and acetaminophen are to your liver, alcohol and ibuprofen/advil/aleve are to your stomach and kidneys.
