What's notable is the historical line our Arab allies have toed when it comes to Israel as not only have those Arab leaders fanned the flames of anti-Israel rhetoric among their people, but also because their people are more restless when it comes to supporting Israel. What they're doing now is showing a clear commitment to honoring the Abraham Accords (with greater support and access from US as payment) and also projecting a clear response against real culprit behind Oct 7. Whether this holds up is still up in the air as to how much Muslims living in these countries can stomach Israel's escalation against Hamas. Joey aint doing great in battleground MI, but it's not the biggest issue given what's coming out of One Man Crimewave's mouth. There are likely multiple reasons why Arab countries would cooperate against Iran even helping Israel. My understanding also is that in countries like Saudi Arabia and the Emirates is that while the population might be very sympathetic towards the Palestinians and more critical of Israel the leadership isn’t.

There's a partisan blind spot that comes from the Abraham Accords, especially when Ivanka Trump's man-wife was in charge of the effort. I didn't think it would amount to much then, and just look back into the replies on here dismissing the deal... These countries signed the accords for various reasons but your point wrt Iran was a keystone for getting them to align with Israel. The other bedrock would be the US acting as a mediator/facilitator much like Japan and S. Korea's current relationship despite historical Japanese denialism for their war crimes committed in WW2

I think this tweeter assumes that not holding Israel back from going into Rafah and actually fully eliminating Hamas would have allowed Israel to end this conflict much sooner and thereby potentially save more hostages. And he/she assumes that Trump would not have held Israel back.
