It was only a matter of time:

"Toronto center Hakeem Olajuwon missed his second straight game with a swollen toe on his left foot."

It's probably some sort of blood clot under his toenail that will require weeks of rest and blood thinning medication.

he's been able to play, but the Raptors decided to rest him up and get it healed properly. Some big games are coming up like the Knicks @ MSG on Christmas Day, Lakers twice, etc. Raps need him healthy for then.

Starting a thread to make fun of a man's medical problems. What a punk. What are you, twelve?

PC? There's a difference between not being politically correct and not demonstrating a hint of common decency.

    Show some respect, punk.

    Lighten up, Francis.
When Hakeem shows respect for the fans of Houston I'll show respect to him.

Decency? I didn't realize people were so touchy about toe jokes.

I like the way you ignore all the quotes where Hakeem thanked the fans, and said that Houston will always be his home. Why don't you back up your opinion with facts? How has Hakeem disrespected the fans?

Hakeem thanked the fans by turning his back to them and leaving them. The same city that worshipped him for years. That extra million or two means so much to his bank account. Then last week he couldn't resist kicking an organization when it is down. Classless.

Its not the Knicks and their team, its the fact that the game is one of the two showcased games on NBC. Its a pretty important game because pretty much every NBA fan will be watching

Old School -- for the record, I don't really think you're a punk (I don't even know you), just misguided.

On that note, at the quarter point of the season, Hakeem has played in more games than every Rocket starter except Mobley and KT (24). More than Rice (20), Steve (13) or Cato (doesn't count).
