Effort and lack of talent = Ryan Bowen not Carl Landry

Just in case you want to know.

Well, prepare to be disappointed after next season pal. We're not getting any better, or more 'talented'.

I imagine less passionate fans like you would ditch the Rockets once they start rebuilding... Good riddance. We don't need pessimistic douchebags like you to start being judgemental about the Rockets season this year being only 30 games in.

Since when did Carl Landry become the Rockets?

Why are you so defensive over Landry? Did i say he suck once? I said he will average around 10 points on the elite teams because there won't be enough shots to go around?

    Wanna talk basketball now?

You do know last season ended this year right? Maybe you should stop living in the past and be realistic about the team in 2009/10.

    OK lets try this again:

Effort minus talent = Ryan Bowen not Luis Scola
Effort minus talent = Ryan Bowen not Aaron Brooks
Effort minus talent = Ryan Bowen not Chase Budinger

Your efforts to prove that the Rockets have no talent and are winning strictly due to effort and good coaching does not hold water. If Landry were on another team he might very well still be averaging 16 pts a game as the sixth man. Teams have a real funny habit of letting players that can hit 58% of their shots in many many different ways shoot.

You really think the Lakers would not love the opportunity to sit Kobe and Pau for extended minutes to keep them fresh at the end of the year. Landry would be the 3rd best offensive option on the Lakers today. He would come in off of the bench like he does with the Rockets and make the Lakers just that much better. If you don't believe that then you don't know basketball...fact.

I am sooooo glad that you are not the Rockets GM. You'd probably trade away the entire team for LeBron James and then pay him $200 million dollars a season to play 1v5 every single night.

So i take it that you think a player either has talent or he doesn't?
AB has talent, but is he as talented as someone like LeBron?
So when i say the Rox lack talent, it means they dont have ENOUGH talent, easy concept.

As for the Lakers, Bynum was a 20 point scorer who got plenty of shots while Gasol was out, and now that Gasol is back both Bynum's stats and shot attempts plummeted, he is still shooting at a similar %, but is not getting the shots he got before.

Landry would probably shoot at a higher percentage with the Lakers, but he will get around 10 points purely because there is not enough shots.

If Kobe and Co started taking less shots Bynum would be scoring more, but it ain't happening and probably won't happen.

And i am glad you are not the Rockets GM, you will probably sign Landry to a 10 mil contract and refuse to play Yao in order to give more time to Landry.

I have a hard time believe he'd only be making 10 ppg. on the Lakers. With Kobe and Gasol sitting, who the hell would be scoring on the current Lakers team?! Vujacic?

People need to get off of other people's login names.

I wish I could change mine right now, but no, it will always been what it is.

And if people can't find a good response to my posts, they make fun of it.

    It's pretty ridiculous.

It's obvious that you are experiencing emotional turmoil after the sudden loss of Yao Ming last year... and Tracy not turning out to be productive...

You should just change your moniker to Lowry10 to avoid confusion.
