Gordon: "We can’t isolate as much against a good defensive team. I don’t care who you are."

Guys not named Harden, Paul, and Capela were 11-37 and 6-21 from 3 last night. Make about 5-6 more shots and it’s a much different game.

Game plan was fine. Need to tighten up the defense a bit on the cuts, but this can’t be a 3 man show on offense. Role players were missing in Game 1 and have to show up when called upon.

It would help if Tucker can make a shot

LOL! For all the b****in about EG's comments - when the dude is correct...

Problem with all these iso's is:
    A) 3 or 4 guys on the other team get a break every time we iso... so they're ready to attack on the offensive end....
    B) we dont get our guys in the rhythm bc they are standing stagnant...

Let's be honest, it looked like Kevin McHale coached that game...

I agree with Gordon. When we dominated most, we ran few ISO plays. I'm not sure why we moved away from the motion offense.

let's stop right here, LB probably is going to shoot the similar percentage if ball is passed to him with 2 second left and a defender on him. I'm not saying it's always the case, there there are definitely quite few times. And we need to run plays, the role players can't create shots as Harden or Paul, they need to the ball when they are cutting, curling, backdoor. If ISO is our only play, then we will be in trouble this year, next year and years to come since we simply can't afford enough good ISO players. Passing is not easy with tight defense Golden State played, but we have to try and practice, otherwise, we may win one or two games out of this series, that's about and Harden will be dead at game 3 or game 4 since ISO requires him to be 120% focus for that 20 seconds, then a fast run back.

it's different, watch out Durant ISO vs Harden's ISO, Harden doesn't have the height advantage, he has to muscle through and pass the defender, Durant just simply shoots over his defender.

Houston's offense only work against any other teams EXCEPT the Warriors. You can't do anything against the Hampton's 5 because they switch everything. For other guys to get open, the pick n roll need to work because that's when Harden create havoc. But not against Golden State. So basically, the #1 option for the Rockets is gone. Chris Paul...remember how he exploited the hell out of Gobert? You can't do that against Golden State. So, what you see is one-on-one ball and EVEN one-on-one is hard because the ONLY advantage Houston get is trying to exploit Curry which they did all game long. But it reduces to ISO and more ISO and others don't just standing around and watch.

I think that only happen once. You guys let narrative fool you. Eric Gordon had plenty of time with the ball and Harden passed to many players that pump faked and passed back to him. But if he doesn't score y'all call him passive and all this ****. Just calm down.

But they had more ISO's. It's the same thing. Doesn't matter how you do it. People are just dumb and let the media fool them. ISO this, ISO that.

This is exactly why you can't just have one way to beat your opponent. It's fine in the regular season. In the playoffs, teams are going to game plan against your biggest gun. If your opponent happens to be good at stopping that gun, and you don't have other guns to pull out, you are doomed.

I believe we have other guns. We just need to fire those guns. Maybe we have been too successful using just one gun and now we don't know how to use the others.

And it not about ISO. It's about having only one guy who can successfully ISO.

We have 2. GSW has 2.5 with Durant and Curry.

It's not about just EG. The whole team needs to play better

We wouldn't even have this conversation if Ariza/Tucker/Luc weren't a combined 3/17. Let that sink in.

Sounds to me like he wants the ball less... he didn’t look comfortable in game 1 trying to beat guys one on one off the dribble. It was odd how much Harden kept giving it to EG and telling him basically to breakdown the defense. That’s not EGs game!

It shows you don't know much. Eric Gordon is awful defensively. Gets lost and then complaints like it was others fault. Dude is a cancer lowkey.
