You shouldn't respect the will of the people when the people are stupid.

“We will explore every single option that exists, whether it be persuading him to resign, trying to force him to resign, constraining his power, removing his ability to spend money or resisting any attempt for him to access data or our social media account,” Mackowiak told the Tribune. “I’m treating this as a coup and as a hostile takeover.”

“Tell them they can go **** themselves,” Morrow told the Tribune.

I thought this was a Trump thread.

With the way the GOP establishment has come out and wet there pants over Trump's success is telling. They seem corrupt.

They aren't respecting the people whatsoever.

I laugh at the third party run, as you are just splitting the republican vote. Go vote for Hilary then you cowards.

This is typical. Incendiary, sure. Wrong? I wouldn't know.

Much like Trump, this is what 8 years of pandering to lunatics has wrought for the GOP.

The country club has been invaded by the Walmart shopper, and there's no going back.

The narrative that GOP voters have lost their collective minds is a good one, and true in a lot of senses, but isn't really the case in this particular instance. What actually happened is that the incumbent GOP chair, James Dickey, didn't even run a campaign due to the fact that he considered himself a shoe-in for re-election. Unfortunately for him he underestimated the stupidity of voters and Robert Morrow was the first candidate listed on the ballot so a majority of voters who only showed up to vote for the presidential primary ended up voting for the first person listed on the ballot and handed the election to Morrow. True electoral comedy at its finest.

Not only that, but the Wal-Mart shopper buys hundreds of dollars more worth of **** than they can afford - all the meanwhile complaining loudly about the job losses to China.

I have voted in some local elections like that where I have no idea who the candidates are, school board? County treasure? Never heard of them before. So just randomly pick one or the first one on the list.

I always skip a part of the ballot if I have no clue about the people involved. Yikes, good thing.

Can only imagine some of the nutters we could have in SF. I recall a mayoral candidate named "Starchild."
