Loved the minute distribution.. Harden topped out with 35.5 mpg.. compared to warriors who have three players above 38 with Durant and Klay close to 40.. Lebron is at 43, Westbrook is 39 and Paul G is at 41, Anthony Davis 39 Lowry and Derozan both over 37.. For Utah Donovan Mitchell is at 38.2 with Gobert and Rubio both at 35 and Ingles at 34.. For the rockets the key players are

    Harden 35.8
    Ariza 34.8
    CP3 31.6
    Capela 30.8
    EG 30.6

this is such an awesome minute usage.. Hope we can sustain the same level of play against utah or OKC as I know our key players will get abused once they play warriors.. Compared this to last year Harden averaged 38.8 mpg and Ariza was also close to 39.. so these things definitely matter.

Love the minutes distribution! That tells you how loaded this team is. When you have many great players, coach's job is so much easier!

I know and I am really proud of him for not getting bogged down with Johnson.. I know he is his guy and with Luc out I was sure Johnson would average nearly 20 mpg.. but he has definitely resisted that urge and kept Jonson at 8 mpg in just 3 games... where as Green is near 18 minutes.. He has had suspect minuter rotations, specifically playing Johnson a lot in the regular season, we got to give him his kudos for job well done in round one.

Not suspect at all when you considered we just got JJ and he was trying to see what JJ could do in meaningless regular season games

its suspect because he was pretty much relying on JJ to be the 7th man after EG when Green was obviously going off.. there were several games that Green didnt even play, or played a few scrub minutes in the 4th Q...

With minutes down, the players expend more energy on D

yeah but MDA sucks! he doesn't know how to call timeouts! he can't draw up plays! he just lets the stars do whatever they want! he fails to motivate the team at halftime! am I doing this right @PeterKingX ? :p

With all the couch coaches here, you would think Dantoni didnt know what he was doing.

Mike Dan Tony expanded his rotation. But I can't blame him for a shortened rotation last year when you have scrubs like busty Samuel Dekker

Dude that is not true.. he called an awesome time out when rockets went from 23 point lead to 19 point with KAT scoring two shots including a break away dunk, and re-enegized us to be back up by 20+ and eventually 35 points.. he was super pissed when the rockets slowly lost the lead and were up 18 with 3 minutes left and was yelling at the players.. Imagine a coach that shows no fire no fury, some one like OKC coach, who just stays expressionless.. Coach has actually done a great job with time outs and also out burst of emotions when they are needed..

Who cares if GG was going off? Like seriously? We were playing MEANINGLESS GAMES! We already knew what GG brings to the table. JJ on the other hand, we were trying to find out what he can do with our team. How do you do that? By playing him minutes.
