What is there to do in Niwot, Denver area? Only thing I have planned is Rockies game on Friday. I'll be there until Sunday.

Got to be a bit blunt, I suspect a high amount of weed jokes will be scattered about this thread. Your best bet is to smoke out the jokers and just focus on the high rollers. Even if they are as green as grass, listen to them over the veteran posters. They always try to stone you. Anyway, as soon as you plant yourself over there---hope you have a great time. Say HIGH to everyone for me. Especially my friend Mary Jane. She is all over that place. You are bound to see her.

    They have some good breweries

I would guess they have good hiking and white water rafting or something

Dude. Niwot is adjacent to Boulder. It's like asking what's there to do on the east side of Austin

I mean seriously. Do you really need an Internet BBS to tell you what to do in the foothills of Rockies?

I didn't really mean it that way. Just saying mrm32 should be looking up what there is to do in Boulder vs Niwot. Much more info available for that. It's literally a bike ride away.

For instance, biggest festival of the year in Boulder is Memorial Day weekend for the Bolder Boulder 10k.

Right? It's like asking what's there to do when visiting Brookshire. I mean... Seriously? Katy is literally right down the road.

I live in Longmont, which is 5 mins away. Do you like beer?

We've got Oskar Blues and Lefthand in town, plus an awesome up-and-comer in Wibby. You can hang at Wibby and order the best bbq in town, Georgia Boys. Boulder's 5 mins the other direction from Niwot, which has Avery among others.

You're going to be fairly close to Rocky Mountain National Park, which is beautiful and the weather is great lately.

There are some killer restaurants in Boulder. Jax (seafood), Tiffins/Kebob and Curry for Indian, Zoe Mama (Chinese street food), Rincon (empanadas). Longs Peak in Longmont, or Mountain Sun in Boulder (same brewery) are awesome brewpubs.

    Oh, and it's a long 'I'. Nigh-wot

I probably wouldn't do much in Niwot honestly, not much going on there. I've heard they have a good pizza place, but it's really a commuter town.

Can you shoot straight up to Estes Park through Longmont?

I say sit in your comfortable hotel couch, open the windows for a nice cool breeze and read a good book.

Estes Park, continental divide, Winter Park(Tabernash grill to eat), white water rafting, catch a Rockies baseball game, breweries, eat some edibles.

I enjoy Colorado so much when I go.
