I'm really happy TBH. I loved seeing the Rox FO people being so coveted, but I hated the thought of the Mavs getting better.

Obviously Gersson was sent by Daryl to spy on the Mavs. He was probably caught sending Cuban's secrets back to Daryl.

They suck all the information out of him so there was no more use.

He probably wanted to to start to cautiously rebuild and Cuban wanted to keep taping the team up to win a ring.

I wonder if Nelson and Rosas disagreed on the Ellis signing.

They probably got into an argument about whether or not Monta Ellis truly have it all.

What?? Too strange. One has to wonder what happened in Dallas to cause this. Will he end up back here? This is really shocking news.

    Woahhhh... interesting.

I'm very interested to hear about this, but word to the wise.... Stein is a mouthpiece for the Mavs and is VERY good friends with people in that organization. There wont be anything coming out of his mouth that paints the Mavs in a negative manner... if anything its Rosas.

My guess.... Rosas wanted to trade Dirk, rebuild, and NOT sign band aids like Dalembert, etc, and Cuban's friendship with Dirk & Carlisle led to friction in the direction. Rosas doesn't seem like the type of guy that would buy into just adding contracts of band aid players around Dirk in the twilight of his career. The whole Dallas situation just seemed conflicted from GO this off-season once they missed out on Dwight.

The Calderon signing is worse than the Ellis signing, imo. Given their position however, neither signing was that good.

    This was from September 25:

I bet he wants some red in his system right about now. And Gersson, we want to be in your system too.

Or was making calls about potential Dirk deals to present Cuban and Cuban said GTFO.

Just FYI... The Bobcats have Zeller, MKG, picks, and the expiring contract of Ben Gordon to offer that works out under the CBA for a Dirk trade. I hope to God that Rosas was making calls for deals like this. That would be incredible Mavs trolling, but a deal that makes sense for the Mavs all day every day, and a good way to get fired by the ultimate homer over-emotional fan/owner.
