The only reason I disagree is that this is (still) a democracy with checks and balances in place...which provides some safe guards, at least for now.
I'd go: Trump, Putin, Xi, Un, and then Ali last. It's a solid group for who you'd wanna keep a close eye on though.
Trump didn't fund global war. I don't get how he is a "threat" to peace. Germany is threat to peace by giving Russia billions of dollars. Glad we blew up their pipeline.
Germans might not be a fan of Trump threatening to leave NATO to appease Putin. Just a wild ass guess.
This is a reflection of how far left mainstream media is in Germany. They have been painting Trump as the devil for a long time. It also shows how high the degree of anti-American sentiment among people left of center and very far right of center is. And how stupid people are.
Weird take. Trump was already President and wasn’t very hawkish at all. Meanwhile Putin launched a war of aggression against a European state.
Dude you have got to come back to earth or stop reading whatever it is you've been reading. The whole reason Trump didn't go to war anywhere was so Russia could dominate. Trump foreign policy was perfect for Russia. - Dump NATO - Anti-Ukraine - Friendly to N Korea - Negotiated with Taliban to essentially just admit defeat and run. All of these are aligned with Putin's objectives. Only a fool thinks Trump is a man of peace. 2nd term, he will make sure Russia gets all of Ukraine.
So you're saying essentially that German people are dumb and/or gullible for being tricked by the media? I mean Trump is a complete lunatic and was and could be again in charge of the largest military in the world. Maybe you've just been in Florida to long bruh? Germany has some of the smartest people in the world from what i know. shrug
Yes. That's not saying Trump is a good person, but he is not a greater threat to world peace than the 4 villains depicted next to him. But when you listened to German media for years, it was literally all "orange man bad", even in conservative media outlets.
Any person that's the POTUS is the greatest threat to world peace. Trump is the only potential POTUS there, so therefore he's the right choice.
He’s not literally the threat to pull the trigger on wars, but his election is likely seen as a lynchpin to NATO falling, and the US stepping aside while Russia takes the Baltic states, Xi takes Taiwan, and ultimately North Korea attempts to take South Korea. This is why polling is kind of dumb when the media does it. There’s always nuances and caveats. Nothing is a straight yes or no answer. Trump is the biggest threat but not directly.
If one views NATO as a preserver of world peace, then it makes sense, especially given concerns that Trump will effectively undermine NATO. It's a sensible view given NATO stated purpose and goal: to "secure a lasting peace in Europe", to "contributes to peace and stability through crisis prevention and management, and through partnerships with other organisations and countries across the globe" https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/topics_68144.htm
