Combative attitude? A citizen has the right to be frustrated when their property and person is searched without consent. It's a violation if their Constitutional rights. An illegal right turn doesn't warrant having your property searched.

It's these type of interactions that make people distrust law enforcement and see them as a occupying force rather than a public service to the community they preside over as they should be.

Doesn't really need to be motivated by race. The core elements here are (1) brutality committed by a police officer, (2) apparent attitude of impunity on the part of police officers, and (3) exasperation by the community that African Americans suffer the brunt of brutalities and impunities by police. Whatever was going through Chauvin's head when he committed the crime, we are sick of cops abusing their office to brutalize citizens. Even if it was somehow proved that Chauvin was not at all racist, it would change the objection one jot.

I disagree. The protestors are obviously arguing to defund police and replace them who are kinder an gentler Only To Black People...if any police at all.

This is what Black Lives Matter really means but you sheeple just don't understand.

“There is no evidence that Kueng knew Chauvin was going to commit a crime at the time,” he wrote. “When asked by Lane if they should roll Floyd onto his stomach to avoid excited delirium, Chauvin said they should not, twice…. Chauvin, based on his assessment at the time, believed he was using reasonable force against a suspect, who was high and had resisted arrest. Kueng could not intentionally aid and abet an act that he did not know was criminal.”

He also pointed to toxicology reports that found that Floyd had fentanyl in his system and had recently consumed methamphetamine, arguing that drug use and ongoing health issues, not Chauvin’s decision to kneel on Floyd’s neck for over nine minutes, had caused his death.

    lol at that defense

if not for the knee on his neck, he wouldn’t have died that day

What’s next? Somebody can say “my punch didn’t kill him, he died because he had severe hemophilia“ as their defense in court?
