Need help with the following geometry problem, any help would be great. Given the length of each segment, find the missing part of the coordinates of the endpoints using the distance formula. M(8,__) N(__,13) MN=√113
You have to use the distance formula and then solve a linear equation. I can't really post it here because I don't know how to use super and sub scripts. Basically the distance formula is
Here's a hint: use the distance formula. Is this a middle school math problem? If so, any of the solutions given by others will do. If this is high school or higher, you're probably expected to find the general solution valid for a range of coordinates.
God. I miss when math problems were this easy. Taking DE this semester, Cal 3 next. No knock on you OP. I understand brain farts when it comes to math. 3 years ago, I didn't think I would ever be able to pass college algebra. keep working those equations, bro.
