Didn't see a thread so lock if posted, but premiers tonight and getting good initial reviews. Anybody watching? http://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/the-people-v-o-j-simpson-american-crime-story/s01/ <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/J2-vm-L_dk4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Really looking forward to this. Love the fact that Cuba Gooding Jr is playing OJ. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!
Kept seeing trailers for this while watching Better Call Saul. If nothing else, the casting looks very interesting.
I really don't care about OJ Simpson. I suppose the show could still be high quality and enjoyable despite that, but I'm having a hard time motivating myself to get excited about it. If people really love it maybe I'll give it a look-see sometime over the summer when nothing else is on.
Honestly surprised so many people are looking forward to this. I thought everyone would be sick of OJ stuff. I was surprised to see Travolta is in it.
Looks good. Will watch. Apparently though, both Nicole and Ron's families are angry they were never consulted for any part of this and are throwing shade at the actors involved. Kinda hard to blame them if you ask me.
What's the point of your question? It's a story about a significant cultural event. Doesn't need to have a point other than that.
Why make Zero Dark Thirty? We got him, what's the point? Why make Apollo 13? We got them home, what's the point? etc....
Who got him? The people who are directing this show? Executives at FX? The actors, writers, and producers?
