Jones will be one of the 5 best pros in this draft. Reminds me of Rudy Gay. Its our mulligan for Battier.

Except that Rudy Gay is not that great of a player.
He is the definition of a stat sheet stuffer that does not translate his game into wins for his team.

I'd be more than alright coming out of this thing with PJIII and Drummond.

If there's anything this franchise desperately needs it's direction. What better way to give us just that than making a couple of high risk/high reward pick like these?

Beast potential, right there with Drummond imo. Could turn out to be a 7ft tall Rudy Gay or a poor man's Anthony Randolph. Would love to see him on the team.

    Yes and no...

It would be tough to be happy after all the hype. I'd feel let down just like every draft/trade deadline that came before it the past 3 years.

Having said that, we could do worse. At least we would have finally took a leap of faith on a high risk/high reward prospect. And PJIII is most likely the only potential all-star we'll find at #12.

If you can guarantee they end up being top-20 talents, then, no. But many don't end up being top-20 talents.

I say forget about Dwight HOward , try and move up and get Drummond, and with the 12th, hope to land perry jones. Then in free agency we have enough to go after Josh Smith. It's clear that Howard does not want to stay in Houston, I have heard numerous reports it's not going to happen because of that sole reason. Keep Lowry , but try and move Martin to make room for Marcus Morris. I dont see us signing Dragic, but rather a Gerald Wallace type of player.

    Lineup
    Lowry/Fortson/?
    Lee/PJIII
    Parsons/Wallace
    Josh Smith/Ppat/Dmo/Jon Leuren
    Camby/Drummond/Dmo

I dont know how you guys feel , but expect something like this and not Howard /Dwilliams.
    Your thoughts?

Insert shameless self promotion of being in The Longest Yard and some other movies.
