Stopped reading when I saw NYC wasn't on the list. I'd understand if theGalleria was rated the #1 shopping mall, and that's because the best shopping in other cities (NYC, Chicago, SF, etc.) isn't in malls.
Read the article to see why it didn't make the list. As someone who doesn't like to window shop or browse, and likes a bargain, the list made sense to me. And I can also say the only times I go to the Galleria is when a woman is dragging me there. Are you a girl?
I've lived in 3 of the top 4. I am going to be disappointed with my shopping if I live anywhere other than Dallas. But then I'd live with the disappointment of living in Dallas. Can't win them all.
The Galleria area is a b**** to park and traffic is just horrible... Online shopping is the way to go, or just buy your clothes at Ross...
Of course Houston is great for shopping. But how in the world is Indianapolis ranked #5? I know it's changed a lot in the last 25 years but that just doesn't seem right. Man, it'll be 25 years in Houston next year. Time flies.
