I don't know all of them....the ones I do know are: a ranch in downtown...chse cuties in my Cadillac...drill oilwells...fit me right, toe to heel...so I get my boots at...boot town.

The Lawrence Marshall pitchman is Texas A&M and Oilers defensive lineman Ray Childress and his damnable "clobberline."

Puh-lease. The worst commercials are always national. The McDonald's ones are unbearable.

The best "local" commercial airs in Austin regularly (or at least it used to)...

Hola. Yo Soy Marta de Capitol Car Credit

    Smoking hot chica!

I think its those Suit Mart commercials - with the two old guys - that makes me want to shoot myself. Or someone else.

My favorite one here (Austin) is the:

"Do you suffer from (insert really obscure disorder here)? Then call the law offices of James Sokolov."

Since they always air them at 2 or 3 in the morning, it usually results in a drunken me calling their 24 hour hotline and annoying the receptionist with "I think I have Rabdomyolisis/Mesothelioma. I have this really (witty/profane symptom here). May I speak with Mr. Suckanut please?"

I thought when I had left Houston, I had evaded that clown, but lo' and behold, he's in Dallas, too.

I love the new commercials he has where he's coming down the steps and mustering every iota of strength in his lips to smile. Seems like he doesn't use those muscles often. :)

I haven't lived in Houston for almost seven years and, you know, I haven't missed seeing Jim Adler on TV even once. :)

We had this one, too, with "Dallas" substituted for "Houston", of course.

It's Boot Town in Houston, and Western Warehouse in Dallas.

    Try harder.:p

Ah yes. That makes tons of difference. I see now that the commercials aren't even close to the same. Thanks.

"oh you do know betty blackwell?" i have to laugh every time i hear that.

i believe christian hill is the "light duty" guy because, you know, all he does is represent injured workers.

and man, it's always weird to see the thunderbolt commercial and the discount tire co. commercial where the person throws the tire through the window. i'm 22 and can remember seeing those from just about as early as i can remember anything and it's always kinda cool when they come on now and again. can't get rid of the classics.
